Phillips 66 Aviation Opens Nominations for the Second Annual Safe Sky Award

Phillips 66® Aviation has officially opened nominations for the second annual Safe Sky Award, recognizing outstanding achievements in aviation fuel safety, innovation, and leadership among branded FBOs. The award highlights organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to safety protocols, forward‑thinking program development, and a strong culture of operational excellence.

Safety is at the core of everything we do, and we're proud to continue the Phillips 66® Aviation Safe Sky Award for a second year to recognize those who exemplify that commitment,” said Ronald Sanchez, Vice President, Aviation, Phillips 66.

Last year’s inaugural award went to Business Jet (KDAL) of Dallas, Texas, honored for its advanced technology, comprehensive training programs, and exemplary safety performance. This year’s nomination window runs December 1, 2025 through February 13, 2026, with the honoree to be announced at the 2026 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nominees will be evaluated in three core categories:

  • Aviation Fuel Safety Performance

  • Program Innovation

  • Leadership in Safety Culture

Phillips 66® Aviation continues to champion industry‑wide safety and innovation, celebrating FBOs that set new benchmarks in fuel handling and operational excellence.
