Trent Palmer to Appear at Operation Airdrop Booth During EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025
Oshkosh, WI – Operation Airdrop is pleased to announce that aviation filmmaker, content creator, and humanitarian flight advocate Trent Palmer will be making a special guest appearance at the organization’s booth during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025.
Palmer will be at Booth 2142 in Exhibit Hangar B on Tuesday, July 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., where he will meet with attendees, discuss the impact of volunteer pilots in disaster relief efforts, and highlight the critical role aviation plays in responding to crises.
Widely known for his stunning aerial content and dedication to backcountry flying, Trent Palmer has also become a strong advocate for aviation used in service to others. Through his work, Palmer has helped bring national attention to grassroots aviation missions that deliver emergency supplies to hard-to-reach communities following natural disasters.
“We’re honored to have Trent join us in Oshkosh,” said Doug Jackson, Chairman of Operation Airdrop. “Trent helped mobilize support and bring awareness to the critical role volunteer pilots have in disaster response.”
Founded during Hurricane Harvey, Operation Airdrop has grown into a national network of volunteer pilots and aviation professionals delivering aid to those in need. The organization’s response to Hurricane Helene in 2024 marked the largest and most complex mobilization in its history. With over 200 volunteer pilots, Operation Airdrop flew more than 1 million pounds of critical supplies into hard-hit areas across western North Carolina; making it one of the most significant grassroots aviation relief efforts ever conducted in the U.S.
More recently, in June 2025, Operation Airdrop responded rapidly to catastrophic flooding across Central Texas, flying more than 100 missions carrying chainsaws, cleanup tools, and emergency supplies to isolated communities. That mission showcased the unmatched speed and flexibility of general aviation in disaster zones.
Operation Airdrop encourages all AirVenture attendees to visit Booth 2142 to meet Trent Palmer, learn more about the organization’s mission, and discover how they can get involved in using aviation for the greater good.
